Samsung – Solve For Tomorrow

This project was done during my Motion Creative studies at Hyper Island, Stockholm. Samsung was our client and they wanted us to create a video for one of their programs, Solve For Tomorrow. “A 5-10 minutes video to be used during the SFT award ceremony. A film that highlights the participants’ efforts and their learnings and how they have experienced being a part of Solve for Tomorrow, showing what the program has given them as growing changemakers.”

Seven teams of 3, did the interviews from all the 14 participants and each team individually continued with video editing and animation design. Our team’s video was picked by Samsung as the winner video to be shown during their ceremony.

The style we went for is frame by frame animation in Photoshop. It was the best approach based on our timeline and Samsung’s provided brand guides. What I designed during this project is the video frame and animations on four segments (the participants’ third title, What is your favourite food? What did you learn about yourself? What was your biggest challenge during the SFT journey.)
